It’s been a bumper year for Lotto players in the United Kingdom – figures released by the National Lottery yesterday show that a record £720 million has been paid out in 2011 with Men being slightly luckier than Women by winning 60% of the jackpots.

For those keen on astrology it is interesting to note that the people born under the star sign of Taurus ( Birthdays from April 10th to May 10th) claimed more top prizes than any other sign of the zodiac in 2011 .

Taureans will no doubt be looking forward to April and May in 2012 to see if a pattern is emerging !
