After the US Multi-State Lottery organisation confirmed that there were no Powerball jackpot winners in Saturday’s draw and thus the $330 million jackpot had not been won Lottery enthusiasts were keen to establish the potential size of the Powerball jackpot for this Wednesday’s Powerball draw .

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday ? – an estimated $400 million or $227.8 million in a lump sum.

The jackpot for the Powerball draw on Wednesday will be the fourth biggest Powerball jackpot and the sixth highest Lottery prize of all time . The largest Powerball jackpot so far was a $590.5 million prize won by a lucky ticket holder in Florida in May 2013 ( sun and jackpot wins , it’s not fair is it ?).

News reaches Lottoplan HQ of a bizarre mistake by the organisers of the Danish state run Lotto draw, the Keno . An email sent to 300 Lotto players informed them that that had won a sum in billions – followed by another email thirty minutes later stating that there had been an error and in fact the sum was a slightly lesser sum of around £100 .
